Facts About Rotary

Rotary is short for Rotary International - a worldwide organisation of business & professional men & women and was founded in 1905 and has over 1.2 million members in 192 countries.

There are 1800 clubs in Great Britain & Ireland with over 63,000 members, there will surely be a club within easy reach of you.

Each club operates independently and members are drawn from the business and professional community and is by invitation. Projects are undertaken and can be international or within the community, most clubs run projects in both areas., Internationally, clubs can join forces with a club in another part of the world to pool their resources in a joint venture.
